Flerida Santana Johnas is the Regional Director at NeoVista Equities, where she leads economic development strategy, public-private partnerships, and community engagement across New York’s Capital Region. With over 24 years of experience in real estate and public service, Flerida is a mission-driven leader who ensures NeoVista’s projects deliver not only returns—but real, lasting impact for the communities they touch.

A board member of the Delaware County Industrial Development Agency (IDA), Flerida plays an active role in driving job creation, strengthening local economies, and ensuring businesses are supported and incentivized to grow within the region. She works directly with companies to create sustainable job pipelines that benefit all residents, aligning economic growth with equity.

Her commitment to long-term community transformation is equally evident in her years of educational leadership, including her tenure as President of the Stamford Central School Board. There, she championed 21st-century learning initiatives, built cross-sector coalitions, and worked to bridge opportunity gaps for rural students—preparing the next generation not just to succeed, but to lead.

As Treasurer of the Community Empowerment Network for over 12 years, Flerida also led the HomeStart program, which continues to provide aspiring homeowners with the tools needed to build financial security and housing stability.
